It stands to reason, as Tasmanians ourselves, why we’re adamant about providing all-natural, locally sourced Tasmanian ingredients for your dog's meals, treats and meal boosters. Our focus is to place your dog’s nutrition first by using real ingredients with tasty recipes designed by a pet nutritionist maximising and maintaining the freshness of Tasmanian produce in our dog food. You could say, we're dogmatic when it comes to remaining ethically sourced, environmentally friendly, Tasmanian owned and operated, and honoured to support local businesses, farmers and the local community.
We not only know the region and origin of all of our produce, but we are also proud to say, we know the farmers and suppliers by name too. They're neighbours and friends and mostly family-owned businesses. Just like Veronica and George
who supply our olive oil from Latrobe, Ian and Aimee our shiitake mushrooms from Snug in the south, (yep Snug) and Gareth who helps with our flaxseed in a lovely place called Moltema, in the Meander Valley. It doesn't get any fresher than that. All bar a few little ingredients important for your dog's nutrition and diet, when we can't source locally we look to the mainland, such as vitamin E, Calcium Carbonate, Zinc, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, all our ingredients are a stone throw from our commercial kitchen in Miandetta, where each recipe is proudly produced by a few, but busy hands. Welcome to Our Patch. A quiet, peaceful and pure part of the world on the North West Coast of Tasmania. You see, we’re all about pureness. The pureness in our cool air, running streams and pristine shores, in our lush pastures and flourishing farms. Where everything is simply, pure.
Island Treats
Did someone say treats? Most dogs are motivated by food and rewarding them with healthy treats can have many advantages especially for puppy training promoting good behaviour. Island TREATS can also be used to provide mental stimulation and entertainment when you leave your doggo alone. A little treat here and there throughout the day gets their tales wagging and also has added nutrients full of vitamins and natural ingredients.
